Thinking traces

DeepSeek’s reasoning models produce visible thinking traces — intermediate reasoning steps before the final answer. HAEVN captures these traces and displays them in the Viewer as collapsible sections, similar to Claude’s extended thinking blocks.

Tip

DeepSeek’s thinking traces can be long — sometimes longer than the final response itself. HAEVN preserves them in full, making it possible to study how the model approached a problem.

Known limitations

• Images — image generation and uploads are not currently supported.
• Deep Research mode — deep research responses are captured as text; inline source citations may not render with full formatting.
